WVON 1450 RADIO STATION
This project is a retrofit of an existing manufacturing structure into a state of the art radio station. The program calls for new administrative offices, studios, sales offices and a radio museum. This historically African American owned radio station continues to be the community voice. The new facility will be more assembled and centrally located. The new structure will allow for expansion. The facade of the existing building was redesigned to create a large glass opening looking onto 87th Street. The new facade and letter transform the building into a new landmark along the busy thoroughfare. |
