MERCY HOUSING

This facility houses one hundred single room occupancy (SRO) units in the Englewood Community on Chicago’s Southside. The north elevation faces west 63rd Street. This façade utilizes face brick in a kente cloth pattern as well as a clear anodized storefront window system.

The south elevation faces an elevated rapid transit line. This façade employs triple glazed windows and a pattern face brick façade with concrete block up for sound attenuation purposes. Green features such as sun baffles, extensive green roof system and geothermal system will be employed.
