PRAIRIE AVENUE TOWNHOMES

Located in the historical Gap neighborhood of Chicago’s South Side, these townhomes were constructed in 1988.

While built as affordable housing, the exterior detailling has allowed for a strong sense of community.

Exterior porches provide a stopping point. The use of split-faced block, face brick and limestone banding was employed to blend in contextuality with the surrounding structures.
