WADE LOFTS

The site is located in the Kenwood neighborhood on a heavily traveled thoroughfare. This mixed-use four story plus penthouse building is designed to meet the growing needs of the new urban redevelopment occurring north of the site.

The program calls for commercial space on the ground level with nine loft spaces on the next three floors and an office for the developer in the penthouse (fifth floor).

The main façade (Forty Seventh Street) is developed with utility face brick with large divided windows and julliette balconies. A roof terrace was incorporated for use by the residents. A painted steel canopy adorns the commercial entrance. Minimum parking is placed at the rear as the building envelope completes the building edge on Forty-Seventh.
